Will I lose my water if I don't use it?

No. Simply using less water does not mean you will lose your water service or that the government will take away your water.

Many people choose to conserve water by fixing leaks, installing water-efficient fixtures, or reducing outdoor watering. These conservation efforts help protect the community's water supply and do not affect your ability to continue receiving water service.

Your water service is based on your account and connection to the water system, not on meeting a minimum amount of water use. Using only the water you need is encouraged and helps ensure a reliable water supply for the entire community.
